The Ozark Mountain Daredevils : Don' t Look Down 1977 Flac &MP3

The Ozark Mountain Daredevils are a Southern rock/country rock band formed in 1972 in Springfield, Missouri, USA.

The Ozark Mountain Daredevils were among the more popular of mid-'70s country-rock outfits, slotting in chronologically and stylistically between the Eagles and Firefall.

The group enjoyed success primarily on FM radio from 1973 until 1978, and were popular enough to justify the recording and release of a double-LP concert album they switched labels to CBS in 1980,

" Don't Look Down " is their fifth album . The band lost another founding member, Buddy Brayfield, gained a new producer David Kershenbaum, and added three new players, including singer/guitarist and longtime pal Steve Canaday, who as owner of the New Bijou had been instrumental in the group's formation.

Despite containing "Following The Way That I Feel", one of the strongest pop tunes in their catalogue," Don't Look Down " didn't meet sales expectations, and presaged the Ozark Mountain Daredevils' move from A&M Records to Columbia Records.

Lyrics from the Vinyl Album )

Have you ever felt yourself
in a place a little strange
where nothin' seemed
the way it should be

And every time you'd set your sight
and take an aim
things would change
move out of range .

Have you stood in the sunshine
and seen darkness everywhewre
Have you looked for a seashell
on a street

Has it made much difference
that you' ve never had to share

" You've just given , given it all to the wind
You've just given , given it all to the wind "

When you finally find yourself
in the middle of a dream
and the vision slowly slips away
it's hard to hold yourself
in the middle of a stream

" You've just given , given it all to the wind
You've just given , given it all to the wind "
