Wiseblood is an electronic noise-rock band formed by Clint Ruin (aka J. G. Thirlwell) and Roli Mosimann. In Ruin's words , Wiseblood is " violent American music made by non-Americans ". The material tends toward the realm of the darkest and most sexual Foetus songs , with Mosimann's Swans lineage showing in the slow , crushing pacing of many tracks . Thematically , Wiseblood's lyrics center around the misanthropic exertion of power , typically via murder , sex or assault . Wiseblood existed on-and-off from the mid 1980s through early 1990s .

l (born 29 January 1960) , aka Clint Ruin , aka Frank Want , aka Foetus , is an Australian vocalist , composer and record producer . He emerged during (and is sometimes associated with) the No Wave era , however because of his musical diversity (which at times has included passage in the Electronic music genres) he is perhaps more well known for going beyond categorization , by juxtaposing a variety of different styles .Roli Mosimann is a drummer, electronic musician and record producer whose contributions range from industrial to pop. Originally from Switzerland, Mosimann first made his mark in the New York City no wave band Swans and later collaborated with Foetus mastermind J. G. Thirlwell as Wiseblood.
