One of the Netherlands' biggest rock stars during the '70s and '80s, Herman Brood also gained notoriety for his lifelong addiction to drink and drugs, and for his career in the visual arts.

Influenced by piano stompers like Little Richard and Fats Domino, Brood began studying at art school by the time he was 17; one year later, however, education became a secondary concern after he joined a group called the Moans. That band later became Long Tall Ernie & the Shakers before he joined one of the best Dutch blues combos of the '60s, Cuby & the Blizzards. He performed with the band for only a short time, and also spent time in one of the major Dutch psych groups, Q 65. (He also spent time in Stud, the Flash & Dance Band, and most notably, Vitesse, with Herman Van Boeyen, which released a 1975 album, In Vitesse.)

By 1977, Herman Brood had rounded up another loose backing band, this one known as Wild Romance. The first album with the new band, Street, was followed by Shpritsz one year later. The latter album contained a surprise hit, "Saturdaynight," which hit the American Top 40 in 1979. His two albums after the success, In a Bad Mood and Go Nutz, were each poorly received by both critics and fans, however. He slowly worked his way back with the more successful LPs Wait a Minute and Modern Times Revive.

Brood moved into acting as well by the mid-'80s, and made several high-profile festival appearances, but then retired from music by the early '90s. During the '90s he devoted his time to painting, returning to the music scene to promote a new compilation as well as a live album. On July 11, 2001 Brood committed suicide by jumping from the roof at the Amsterdam Hilton.

H All Together Now είναι η δισκογραφική εταιρεία του Αγγελάκα και επανακυκλοφορεί τον ομώνυμο δίσκο των Εν Πλώ !!!

Επιτέλους ένας από τους πιο σπάνιους δίσκους στην ελληνική δισκογραφία επανεκδίδεται! Και αν υπάρχουν δυό – τρείς δίσκοι που χαρακτήρισαν και οριοθέτησαν το ελληνικό ροκ , αυτός είναι σίγουρα ο ένας ! Οι «Εν Πλώ» φτιάχτηκαν το 1985 από τους Ντίνο Σαδίκη και Δήμο Ζαμάνο και έπαιζαν αυτό που ονομάστηκε μετα- πάνκ (post punk) με ελληνικό στίχο βέβαια. Με παραγωγή αισθητά καλύτερη και διαφορετική από τις άλλες εγχώριες , ο ήχος στηριζόταν στις σκληρές κιθάρες και την παθιασμένη ερμηνεία του Σαδίκη αλλά αυτό δεν πρέπει να ξεγελάει . Η μουσική τους με στοιχεία από παράδοση και ρεμπέτικο ήταν περισσότερο ελληνική από αυτή πολλών! Το τότε Lp εκδόθηκε σε 1001 τεμάχια και αυτή τη στιγμή αποτελεί ένα από τα πιο συλλεκτικά κομμάτια της ελληνικής δισκογραφίας. Η έκδοση της Alltogethernow είναι μία αποθορυβοποιημένη και remastered  έκδοση , από τους Τίτο Καργιωτάκη και Χρήστο Χαρμπίλα , του δίσκου βινυλίου και του 7” single που κυκλοφόρησε αργότερα με το περιοδικό «Στις σκιές του Β 23» . Το ένθετο επίσης είναι αναβαθμισμένο με σημειώσεις του Ντίνου Σαδίκη , ενώ στο cd θα περιέχεται και ένα σπάνιο βίντεο των «Εν Πλώ» . Στην έκδοση του βνυλίου το 7” single θα περιέχεται ξεχωριστά σαν δώρο .

Αργότερα θα εκδοθεί και άλλος ένας δίσκος των «Εν Πλώ» με τα 5 κομμάτια του EP που δεν κυκλοφόρησαν ποτέ μαζί με live και ακυκλοφόρητα.

Το cd θα διατίθεται από τις 2 Ιουλίου 2011 , κατ’ αρχήν στο Alltogethernow party που θα γίνει στο Terra vibe park εκείνη την ημέρα και από το on-line δισκοπωλείο της εταιρίας μας με δυνατότητα αγοράς αλλά και «κατεβάσματος» του δίσκου σε χαμηλή τιμή. Επίσης θα διατίθεται από το site και για χονδρική πώληση .

Ache In Silence were formed by the former bass player of Panx Romana, Julio.
They made only one album on CD which released in 1996 by the private NEW ERA label.
King Julio also played the bass for the reggae band Kilimanjaro as well as for the band Surface.
He also produced the 7'' singles, Kick Inside/Closer to Me of Honeydive and Old Skin Virus of the band, Surface.

Stiff Little Fingers : Wasted Life : Live 2007

A taut, explosive Belfast-based punk band, Stiff Little Fingers (named after a Vibrators song) had the dubious distinction of being referred to as "The Irish Clash".


What must have seemed like a compliment at the time did little to help their career, only because it made comparisons between the two bands inevitable. Granted, there were many similarities: both bands debuted playing revved-up late-'70s punk rock, were politically inclined, featured pissed-off lead singers, had a love for reggae, and possessed a near-palpable sense of isolation and desperation.

But as we all know, the Clash offered complexity, panache, and a consistently breathtaking body of work. Stiff Little Fingers, on the other hand, were simply a very good punk rock band. With sandpaper-throated frontman Jake Burns leading the way, SLF did release an auspicious, if badly produced, debut album, Inflammable Material, that featured the band's two best songs, "Alternative Ulster" and "Suspect Device." Both were passionate, ferocious songs dealing with the harsh, deadly realities of growing up in the middle of two decades of Northern Ireland's violence.

These songs thrust SLF into the limelight and got them loads of enthusiastic press, which led to a contract with the decidedly anti-punk Chrysalis label in 1980. After that, SLF released a handful of pretty good records (including a terrific live album, Hanx), but their unregenerate fast and loud punk style started to sound stale.

In 1982, the band released their most non-punk record (Now Then...), which was greeted by general apathy. In a musical rut, dogged by the facile Clash comparisons, and with punk rock running out of steam, Burns pulled the plug on SLF.
